Formação continuada garante alfabetização na região nordeste do Estado

A Secretaria de Estado de Educação (Seduc) intensifica a formação continuada de alfabetizadores nos municípios paraenses. A partir dessa proposta, o programa Movimento de Alfabetização de Jovens e Adultos (Mova Pará Alfabetizado), coordenado pela Seduc e desenvolvido em parceria com o Governo Federal, prefeituras municipais e instituições, iniciou nesta segunda-feira (16), a formação continuada de 182 alfabetizadores dos municípios de Capanema, São João de Pirabas, Tracuateua, Nova Timboteua, Santarém Novo, Primavera, Bonito e Quatipuru, todos da região nordeste do Estado. A programação acontece no Parque dos Igarapés, no bairro do Satélite, em Belém, e prosseguirá até esta quarta-feira (18).

“A formação continuada implica basicamente na discussão da experiências dos alfabetizadores em seus municípios; fomentar a proposta de alfabetização com base no Método Paulo Freire e outros enfoques e encaminhar a aplicação do teste cognitivo final, que vai dizer se esses alunos foram alfabetizados ou não”, observa a coordenadora do Mova Pará, Mônica Ferreira.

No Mova Pará, as ações de alfabetização de um cidadão ocorrem ao longo de oito meses, em programação didática específica. Em 2015, o programa atende 14 mil estudantes, com as atividades sendo acompanhadas pela secretária de Estado de Educação, Ana Cláudia Hage, e o secretário ajunto de Ensino, Roberto Silva.

Mônica Ferreira destaca que, em muitos casos, cidadãos nas cidades paraenses, em particular trabalhadores da área rural, sentem-se incapazes de ser alfabetizados. Essa concepção provém do fato de se sentirem excluídos da sociedade. “A nossa intenção não é a de somente ensinar essas pessoas a ler e escrever, mas alfabetizá-los de fato”, salienta.

Essa alfabetização parte do “ponto de ancoragem”, ou seja, da realidade na qual está inserido o cidadão a ser alfabetizado; mas, o alfabetizando também tem acesso à dimensão maior do conhecimento, diferente do seu universo diário.

Transformação – A formação continuada do Mova Pará no Parque dos Igarapés teve suas atividades iniciadas a partir do Baú da Leitura, com textos da poetisa Cecília Meireles. Os alfabetizadores trocam experiências e reforçam princípios do programa em atividades em aulas teóricas e práticas. As atividades são supervisionadas pela equipe técnica do Mova Pará e as coordenadoras municipais do programa.

Manoel Rosário dos Santos, de 29 anos, atua como coordenador de turma e alfabetizador em Quatipuru, no Nordeste do Estado. “Em Quatipuru, por exemplo, trabalha-se com aspecto cultural, como festivais do município, economia, geração de renda, meio ambiente e agricultura familiar, com objetos manejados pelas famílias, frutas e outros itens”, explica.Resize (1)

Alfabetizandos em Quatipuru – a maioria são idosos – manifestavam o desejo de aprender a ler e escrever. “É um sonho para muitos, que gostariam, como relatam, de ler livros, como a Bíblia. Também ressaltam que os filhos e netos aprenderam a ler, mas deixaram as casas para constituir famílias e os idosos descobriram que precisam aprender a ler para terem acesso ao conhecimento escrito, por exemplo”, afirma Manoel Rosário.

Quando o alfabetizando começa a faltar às aulas, por conta do trabalho na lavoura, pesca e outros afazeres na produção agrícola, basicamente, o alfabetizador vai até a casa dele. As aulas teóricas e práticas são em geral em duas horas e meia de atividades em quatro dias da semana, no período noturno. No entanto, a maioria dos 14 mil alfabetizandos inscritos no Mova Pará não costuma desperdiçar a oportunidade de assimilar novas práticas (alfabetização) para ter acesso a conhecimentos que serão úteis à comunidade da qual faz parte.
